Cookie policy

In force from 1 November 2026 · replaces the version of 3 March 2023

This is an English translation provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the Romanian version prevails: ithit.ro/cookie-uri/

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the ithit.ro website uses (including the English version at ithit.ro/en/), why, how long they are kept and how you can give or withdraw your consent. General information on how we process personal data is in our Privacy policy: ithit.ro/en/privacy-policy/

1. Who we are

The website is run by IT HIT S.R.L., VAT ID RO33087047, Trade Register no. J2014004909407, registered office at Splaiul Independenței 319H, London Office Building, 15th floor, Sector 6, Bucharest, Romania. You can reach us at gdpr@ithit.ro or +40 371 395 028.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser and can read on later visits. The same rules apply to similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage or measurement pixels; in this policy we call all of them “cookies”.

3. Which cookies we use

We group cookies into three categories. Only the first one works without your consent. Until you choose in the cookie banner, the site sets no analytics or marketing cookie and loads no script from Google or Meta.

We do not show advertising on the site and we do not sell visitors’ data.

5. Legal basis

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Google and Meta may transfer data to their parent companies in the United States (Google LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc.). Both are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023, and also use the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission. The OpenStreetMap Foundation is in the United Kingdom, which benefits from an adequacy decision.

7. How to give or withdraw consent

8. What data reaches Google and Meta

If you accept, Google and Meta receive from your browser the cookie identifiers, your IP address, device and browser type, language, the pages you visit and the actions on the site that we measure: sending the contact form and clicking our phone number or email address. We do not send Google or Meta the content of the contact form (name, email, phone, message). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store the IP addresses of visitors from the European Union.

For collecting and transmitting data through the Meta Pixel, IT HIT and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are joint controllers (Article 26 GDPR) under the controller addendum published by Meta; Meta is responsible for its further processing of the data.
